Wholefoods before Amazon was the joint to go to for variety and real organic foods. Now, McDonald's tastes better than their prepared foods. The produce is gmo and old, the bathrooms don't work, the sushi tastes like water, evening bar cook can't make hotdogs, sometimes the meat is old, the cake options are minimal and not good, overpriced and just not good. Amazon Karen needs to go!

This place was much better before Amazon. I used to always buy my fruit there but now I can’t even get fresh pre cut pineapple because the people that cut it up don’t know what a ripe pineapple looks like. It’s often a pale, almost white color instead of the yellow color that indicates a ripeness. So sad to lose boutique grocery shops to the jerks that just want more money.

Best fresh produce from a grocery store in the area. As a squash enthusiast, that is not a title I take lightly. It is earned through years of dedication and at least one significant butternut-related incident that I will not elaborate on here. The squash varieties are plentiful enough to keep me and my crew satiated throughout the seasons. In particular, the delicata variety in the fall is great for roasting, and the honeynut is perfect for a maple mascarpone stuffed dessert that is always a hit at potlucks. Furthermore, the acorn variety is a great complement to add into butternut squash soup for a more rounded, philosophical depth of flavor. This Whole Foods is truly a curator of gourd-based experiences. The kabocha makes an impression with its dense, chestnut-like texture, ideal for both savory dishes and desserts. Spaghetti squash is, of course, ever present for those going through a low-carb “convince myself this is pasta” phase. Texture diversity is where this establishment truly shines. Calamari and fish were great. Asked for salad sides for both, but when I got home they put fries instead. Not good since I can't eat the carbs.

My favourite go to for a nutritious lunch/dinner…..and a glass of good quality Chardonnay. It’s such a joy to pop in for my groceries and visit their oyster bar, which delivers a plethora of fresh fish starters, sandwiches, main eats, specials and great wine and artisan beers. The food is prepared fresh and I love the fact I have a full 360 view of the kitchen. The staff are super friendly and efficient. It’s simply a place I go once a week to do my weekly food shop, take my laptop if needed and treat myself to some great seafood and wine (all for around $20). If you haven’t been, you’re missing out! One item for improvement - please bring back the chocolate chip cookies to the oyster bar. After a beautiful meal it’s nice to have a little something sweet to nibble on. Thank you!
